With all the countless cautionary tales out there about fraternities and how some universities are actually dissociating themselves from them, it is a shame they are being looked upon like places of danger instead of places of brotherhood. A fraternity is first and foremost a place where men can be free. They can act in ways they want without judgment from the outside world. It’s not all about drinking and partying and treating women badly. In fact, it’s usually about none of these things. Joining a frat is about building a solid future for yourself with a foundation to fall back on when you reach a difficult time in your life.
